KlayFi의 토큰이코노미상 주요한 변화가 아래와 같이 예정되어있어 공지드립니다.

KlayFi Performance Fee : 50% → 30%

KlayFi는 프로토콜 출시 이후부터 Performance Fee를 50%로 책정하여 운영되어왔습니다. KlayFi의 거버넌스 토큰인 $KFI는 구조적으로 사용자가 리워드를 Claim할 시에, Performance Fee에 해당하는 만큼 $KFI 토큰이 이에 상응하여 발행됩니다.

즉, 이에 따라 $KFI의 시장 유통량을 줄이기 위해서는 아래와 같이,

1) 발행비를 축소

2) 기 발행된 $KFI의 바이백 및 소각 실행

3) Performance Fee를 줄여 민팅량 자체의 감소

이 이루어져 $KFI 가치 상승을 견인하게 됩니다.

KlayFi Lab에서는 이를 위해 지속적으로 아래와 같이

1. 발행비는 10:1 → 9:1 → 7:1로 점진적으로 줄여오고 있으며
2. $KFI의 바이백 및 소각은 현재까지(3/21(월) 기준) 약 49,000,000 개의 $KFI를 소각하였고 이는 전체 발행물량의 21%에 달합니다.
3. 그리고 이번 Performance Fee 조정을 통하여 기존 발행량 대비 40% 감소하게 되며,

나아가 PalaDEX Integration처럼, Performance Fee 0%로 설정을 하는 경우도 늘려나갈 예정입니다.

Performance Fee 조정 일정 및 세부 변화는 다음과 같습니다.

• 조정일시 : 3/25(금) 시간 미정
• Performance Fee : 기존) 50% → 변경) 30%
• Performance Fee는 30%로 줄어들지만, 타 DeFi의 거버넌스 토큰을 모으는 규모는 전과 동일하게 5%로 유지됩니다. Klaytn 생태계의 다양한 프로젝트들과의 토큰이코노미간의 결합을 이어가고자 합니다.

Hello, KlayFi Guardians.
This is KlayFi Lab.

We have an important announcement regarding a change in our token economy.

We will adjust the Performance Fee from 50% to 30%.

When we launched the KlayFi Protocol, the team set a 50% Performance Fee from the beginning. 50% Performance Fee (collected from KlayFi Prime / Growth Vaults) is designed to contribute to the KlayFi ecosystem. KlayFi collects a 50% Performance Fee from users and gives $KFI as a reward.

We expect the following due to the new Performance Fee adjustment,

1) Decreases minting of KFI

2) Execute buyback and burn of minted (circulating supply) KFI

3) Decreases minting ratio of KFI by adjusting Performance Fee

And this will eventually lead to upward price pressure of KFI.

KlayFi Lab has done the following to bring greater value to the KlayFi ecosystem.

1. Adjusted minting ratio from 10:1 7:1 and will gradually decrease the protocol’s minting ratio
2. As the date of March 21, 2022, we have burned around 49,000,000 KFI, and it is almost 21% of the total supply
3. Our new adjustment decreases the minting ratio by 40%. Gradually shift to the new token economy like PalaDEX integration (0% Performance Fee)

Details of the Performance Fee are shown below

• Adjustment Date: March 25, 2022 (exact time will be determined)
• Performance Fee: Before)50% → After)30%
• Even after the adjustment, the protocol maintains collecting other DeFi services’ governance tokens as 5%. The KlayFi team seeks to connect tokenomics with various projects on Klaytn.
